Laminated Windscreen
Perfect choice for a windshield of a vehicle, laminated glass provides exemplary safety and security to the passengers and driver. A thin film of Polyvinyl Butyral is induced between two sheets of glass, which strengthens the glass and prevents sharp shards incase of breakage.
Tempered Glass Windscreen
An untreated piece of glass consists of silicate and oxygen molecules in an expanded form, with considerable distance between them. But when this glass is put through the tempering process, these molecules are pushed together, strengthening the molecular bond and the overall structure of the glass. Glass can be tempered with a special heating and rapid cooling process. This process produces a glass that breaks into small polygonal pieces with rounded edges, giving it the name of safety glass and making it a great choice for windshields.

Automotive back screens use tempered glass instead of the laminated one used for wind-screens. A tempered or toughened glass is a type of safety glass manufactured with the aid of heat or chemicals used to strengthen the glass. If it breaks, tempered glass shatters into rounded cubes rather than pointy shards, causing little harm to people around and causing no serious injury.
